A MIDI tool for REAPER that allows adding notes to the piano roll using a fretboard-like grid.
- You need to install Lokasenna_GUI v2. Please follow the instructions in the End Users section.
- Make sure to clone the repo to a folder called
FReatBoard
under theScripts
folder of your REAPER Resources Path
The fretboard is color coded in such a way that all similar octaves have the same color.
Select the tonic note and the scale to highlight diatonic notes in the fretboard.
Controls the range of notes in the fretboard. Select from a list of presets that change the number of strings and frets.
You can select between Chords or Single. With Chords mode, you have to click the Submit button in order to write the MIDI notes. With the Single mode, clicking on a note will write the MIDI note right away.
Controls how you want to visualize enharmonic notes (sharps or flats).
Select the velocity you want the notes written to use.
- This is pre-alpha and was written mainly for my personal use.
- All tuning presets and scale presets can be found under the
config
folder and are all hardcoded.
