Autolookup for shipping and product tax codes:
The fields Shipping Tax Code and AvaTax Tax Code now support autolookup. To set the tax code, start typing in these fields and select the required tax code from the autolookup results.
One-way product synchronization:
Now, you can synchronize your products at Magento with AvaTax. The Product Sync option in the connector configuration enables you to synchronize your products at Magento with your configured company account in AvaTax.
It also synchronizes products for HS codes depending on your Cross-border configuration for the connector.

The cross-border transactions for Australia faced an issue with order amounts calculated in USD instead of AUD. The cart displayed the order amount in AUD but the amount is in USD. This release fixes this issue.

Users faced an error and the tax wasn’t getting calculated when processing a virtual order. This release fixes this issue.

The issue with address validation where the corrected address was not getting updated has been fixed.
Timeout error with AvaTax CURL
Users were getting a CURL timeout error when saving customer data from the Magento admin console when the customer account is having a tax exemption certificate. This issue has been fixed.
The Connector for Magento 2 for Sales Tax supports Magento 2 Community, Enterprise, and Magento Cloud platform versions 2.4.5 and 2.4.6

New features: Invalidate tax exemption certificate Magento admin users and registered customers can now invalidate tax certificates that are available for a customer account. The customer does not receive tax exemption using the invalidated exemption certificate.
CertExpress invitation on the Customers dashboard page Now Magento admin users can invite customers to add tax certificates from the Customer Dashboard page in the Magento admin console. A new column, CertExpress, is added with an Invite button. Admin users can use this button to send an invitation link over email to customers for adding exemption certificates.
Fixes: This release includes the following fixes:
- The issue of tax not getting calculated when creating credit memos from the invoice and entering the Adjustment refund amount having quantity as zero is fixed.
- The issue of invoicing failing when upgrading to version 2.4.2 is now fixed.
- This release also fixes a minor address validation UI issue.
- Tax on the item is now included in the total amount refunded to the customer when taxation policy is gross

- Tax Inclusive is now also applicable to shipping.
