Hi @bhuvangu, Thank you for the PR. Unfortunately, we cannot accept it as it breaks the current contract with customers. The DynamoDB Encryption client only successfully reads DDB items if the items were encrypted according to it's configuration. We cannot allow a passthrough behavior if a material description is expected. |
