In #17149 transfer types were implemented so we can properly identify the specific type of miscellaneous transfer staff are completing in MHR. Two changes are required.

  1. Remove TRANS_LANDLORD (SEIZURE AND SALE BY LANDLORD)
  2. Add TRANS_WRIT_POSSESSION

Note: One final transfer type is being reviewed and may be added. I will include it in this ticket if the requirements are finalized before this is picked up (Warehouser Lien)

Add TRANS_WRIT_POSSESSION - Catherine will be working on it.

I checked documentation (2017 reqs dc, 2014 reqs doc and list of all document types) and the transfers requirement document includes all transfer types.

@lbergero819 the work needed here is to look at our current transfer types documentation (for the modernized system) and to ensure that each row in that document has a tarnsfer type designated. The first wave of transfer types were created in #17149 but it seems one type that we won't have in the new system was added, and one additional type is needed. There's a need to look at that ticket #17149 and the new documentation and make sure that all transfer types have a code and any changes in codes would be listed in this ticket for Doug.

From Melissa:
With the Seizure and Sale by a Warehouseman (WHAL) the intent right now is that we don’t build it. Ultimately, the Commercial Liens Act will replace this filing type and is coming into effect soon so use of GENT would be a temporary solution to avoid building something we then remove shortly after. Kim had asked we walk through the screens so I will show her designs for additional transfer types (including GENT) and then confirm the interim process. Once I have that I can support with documenting it.

@lbergero819 @catherinecarlson this is the development ticket that should really just contain the findings of the BA work. It looks like we don't have a BA ticket for this. I can create a separate BA ticket. Let's try to keep the comments in that one.

Edited - BA ticket is 18304. Perhaps we clean this ticket up by deleting some of the comments and moving them over?
