Looks good - but just to confirm, this also fixes the problem in your local reproduction case? (i.e., this isn't just a "lets try and see if CI stays happy for a while" fix?)

I cannot recreate the issue locally with this fix (but hard to prove a negative :) )....so, it's possible that 0.1s wont be long enough for the CI runners.

As for why this might be different between Wayland and X11, it does appear that Wayland has a lot longer animation to remove and show a window...in mutter anyway; so, maybe that's why this issue is more likely to happen in Wayland.
