Swapping seats vs moving players #301
-
What's the difference between "swap seats" and "move players"? They seem to do the same thing. Is there some subtle difference I'm not getting? When would you want to use one over the other? |

Hi @thislooksfun, swapping exchanges the seats of two players while moving puts a player between two others. To give an example: imagine adding a new seat for a traveler. This new seat will always be inserted at the 11 o'clock position of the circle. But maybe that traveler wants to sit next to player X, somewhere else in the circle. If you only had swapping available, you'd have to swap a lot of seats to get there without changing the order of the other seats, whereas moving allows you to move the traveler seat directly to the intended place without affecting the order of the other seats in the circle. |
