How to Share a Large File with a Forum User

I recently had to send a large file to a forum client.

In order to do so, I had to create a google bucket.

https://cloud.google.com/

Go to "Console"

At the upper left, in the blue dropdown box, make sure DSDE Development is selected.

Scroll down the left hand menu to find "Storage" --> "Browser"

Select "Create Bucket"

I used my broad name to name mine.

Upload a file into this bucket.

Once you have uploaded the file, go all the way to the right side of the page and click the three dots.

Select "Edit Permissions"

Select "Add Item"

Create an item that reads from left to right: "User" "AllUsers" "Reader"

Save the changes.

Now right click on the link picture under the column "Public Access" and copy the link.

This link will allow users to download files directly.
