This is a first draft of 1.22.0 release notes. It still has some pending items to be added/updated but I am creating a pull request to allow more review time.

Pending items - Need more information/clarity on these items, will follow up individually:

  • AC-2277 This is not included because it is set to rejected in Jira. (May need to remove RN label)
  • AC-2335 Need to confirm with @morphis if there is any fix involved (see comments in JIRA).
  • AC-2322 Need more clarity
  • AC-2123 Need more clarity
  • AC-2426 This is not yet complete as per Jira and is in progress. Is this included for 1.22?
  • Is there any known issue that needs to be documented? (Maybe for the regression caused by AC-2257?)
  • Dashboard section needs to be updated with more data from David Edler.

Not included - The following items were marked for 1.22.0 but not included in the RN for reasons stated:

Move the issue to 1.22.1

AC-2335 Need to confirm with @morphis if there is any fix involved (see comments in JIRA).

Yes there has been a fix we had to land in the gpu-support.sh script in both appliance and the LXD charm to tune the NVIDIA driver a bit.

I've dropped the milestone from all not included LP bugs but not https://bugs.launchpad.net/dkimpy/+bug/2052528 as that one is not an Anbox one.

Thanks, I have included this in bugs fixed.

Sorry that was a typo in the bug ID, it is 2062528. I will update the milestone in the bug.

For the known issue,

  • Video Playback doesn't work on 64 bit only system where the NVIDIA GPU is installed.
