T1552.001 (Credentials In Files) should be mapped here. It is mapped against cloudkeymanagement.yaml, but may be appropriate against this control as well.

I agree that T1552.001 should be mapped to this technique. With Secret manager, Cloud Audit Logs integration interacts with one another and generates an audit log. This integration makes meeting audit and compliance requirements easy. Auditing can preemptively search for files containing passwords and take actions to reduce the exposure risk when found.
