Sorry in advanced, I'm fairly new to packer and just found out about bento!

I was wondering what needs to be done in order to get Ubuntu updated to 14.04? Is there anything I can contribute to make this happen?

Thanks for getting in touch. You can definitely just make a PR against the ubuntu-14.04 and ubuntu-14.04-i386.json files.

Is there anything in particular I should look out for when testing this (besides the build process runs fine)? I only have VMware Fusion to test the resulting boxes though.

I'd recommend testing with VirtualBox too.

Would be nice to update Ubuntu Server 14.04 to newest release (14.04.1) and push box to vagrantcloud.

@juliandunn I have it on my list, but I had no time to actually work on it and test it, especially with all hypervisors…
