You can't upload the generated .box files to public areas, but I assume they are ok to use internally. Make sure you license windows appropriately from Microsoft.

What is "oracle-cert.cer"? It's a binary file. Does it have a source? How was it generated?

oracle-cert.cer is a pks12 certificate from oracle. We import it into windows so it will trust the installation of the vmware tools. I haven't found a way to do this hands off without the certificate being imported first.
