Add guided_cityindex as the default dashboard #3
Conversation
@dpb587, @sopel - This is deployed to http://kibana-pr3.monitor-cloud.cityindextest5.co.uk/ Could you review and give me some feedback please |
I think you should better distinguish between "queries" and "filters", or give slightly different examples. For example, you suggest to add a Levels filter, but there's a Levels reference in the query and that might cause confusion. Perhaps something along the lines of "queries let you segment your results" while "filters let you restrict all your results" with an example of "filter by environment so PPE isn't cluttering the results". |
With the changes in place, I think this is a pretty nice approach to introduce users to the system, at least assuming they start with the top level on Kibana page (if you've never seen it before, the Dasboard Index might be a bit visually confusing still, as clear as it is for those in the know) - great job :) |
My Gradle experiment started well; the I had high hopes for the Oh well. Time to roll back. |
Add guided_cityindex as the default dashboard
The default page when hitting kibana should provide guidance on how dashboards work in the context of the City Index data
