Provide detailed reproduction steps (if any)

  1. Go to https://ckeditor.com/docs/ckeditor4/latest/examples/image2.html.
  2. Move (drag/drop) image to content beginning.
  3. Press Cmd+A to select whole content.
  4. Press Cmd+X to cut selected content.

Expected result

Selected content is cut.

Actual result

Selected content remains in the editor. Selection collapses.

Hello @ImDoode,
The similar issue existed in earlier versions of CKEditor (till 4.6.1), but it was fixed in https://dev.ckeditor.com/ticket/11064. You should consider upgrading your CKEditor 4 version.

Blocked by #3705 as mentioned in #3609 (comment) (causes cutting issue #3609 (review)).

Blocking #3705 issue has been fixed.

It turned out there is one upstream issue still on the way to solve this (see #3609 (comment)). We will check if different approach could help here - #3609 (comment).
