Overview

Abacus provides usage metering and aggregation for Cloud Foundry (CF) services. Refer the documentation for an overview on Abacus and familiarize yourself with the required concepts.

Like with other CF Services, you can find an Abacus service in the Service Marketplace.

You need to create an instance of the Abacus service and bind the resource provider application to the instance. Abacus Broker then creates a template Abacus plans and UAA clients.

The Abacus Service dashboard provides user interface to define and manage the resource provider plans.

Limitations

The current implementation of the Broker, supports only secured Abacus installations.
