Motivation & Additional Information

We would like to recommend John Kjell for the role of TAG Security Chair. His efforts as a contributor and tech lead have been instrumental in moving forward the work of the group. In particular:

• John has led several projects in the software supply chain security working group, including the policy whitepaper. In these projects he has demonstrated leadership capacity and dedication to the community.
• John has proven his willingness to “show up” by volunteering at events run by the TAG, facilitating public community calls, and supporting interpersonal efforts such as conflict resolution.
• He is an active participant in TAG leadership meetings, providing constructive feedback and insightful discussion.
• He also has strong technical qualifications, having worked in the cloud native security space for several years.

Based on this record of participation in TAG Security, we would like to put John forward to be a TAG Security chair.
