Add to Cover configuration page (control panel) a field to add custom css class that will be used when you edit a tile, similar to TinyMCE styles.

Custom CSS Styles:
Urgent|urgent-tile
Discreet|discreet-tile
[Save]

When you edit a tile (compose tab/edit link), will have an option to select one of this classes. So your tile code will show sometihing like that:
