Developing with CSS

CSS is built from Sass using django-sass-processor. To compile CSS, run make scss.

When making changes to style.scss, remove style.css from the static directory and it will be rebuilt whenever a change is made.

Useful one-liners

Delete and re-create your virtual environment managed with pyenv-virtualenv

make pyenv-virtualenv-delete && make pyenv-virtualenv && pip install --requirement requirements.txt

This can be useful when updating the Python version. To update the Python version, update runtime.txt, and then run the above command. A list of the latest supported Python versions can be found on Heroku Dev Center.
