Seems Macs Fan Control 1.5.8 with iMac Mid 2011 27" loses GPU Heatsink!

Works with 1.5.7

Please try 1.5.8.1 and post here tech info from the More menu + screenshot

What a strange GPU model 😉 Does it support metal and macOS Catalina?

Edit: the sensor is hidden because the new version nicely displays GPU name and its temperature. why would you need the GPU Heatsink sensor?

Yes, it does support Metal and yes, with a bit of hacking (see dosdude1 at MacRumors), it can run Catalina with no problems.

I just updated to 1.5.8 as well and noticed that the GPU fan was never turning off after setting a custom temp and fan speed. On closer inspection the GPU temps are not actually being reported. Macbook Pro 15 inch late 2013, Intel Iris Pro and Nvidia Geforce GT 750M, both show as - in the temp list.

Basically GPU Die sensor has now more meaningful name with GPU model.
Sensors found in previous versions must be visible again in the beta build:

Download version 1.5.8.1.25 beta

and post here your screenshots, thanks.

Ok, this new beta now lists GPU heatsink and PECI so heatsink T°C can be used for ODD fan control to cool

GPU heatsink.

Thanks, hope you will have this function in next non-beta release

looks good! Thanks. Yes, the official 1.5.8.1 will act the same. Strange that the flashed GPU doesn't report its temperature to the GPU Die sensor

@nnassiri19 please try the update, it must display discrete GPU temperature, but please run also the Valley benchmark to make sure the temperature rises properly.

Hi! FYI the same situation appeared on MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019). No readings neither for Radeon 5300M nor Intel 630. This beta fixes the issue and adds GPU Proximity and GPU Proximity 2. Thanks!

did you guyes try the Valley benchmark? What was the max temp for Radeon 5300M / Radeon Pro 555X? thanks.

1.5.8.1 is no longer beta and if officially released.
It's not available via automatic update yet though.
