Known Issues

This page tracks highlights important items from the issue tracker that will impact the user experience of the application.

1. There are fapolicyd events in syslog, but nothing appears in the analyzer view
   • Has the configuration been updated to the supported syslog configuration string?
   • Is the time range on the analysis view set to the time period the events appeared?
2. Sym and hard links are not always handled correctly in the analyzer
   • Files may not be trusted, but the log event shows allowed. This is due to fapolicyd following a link to the trusted file, where the analyzer does not. This results in a discrepancy in the displayed results.
   • This will be resolved in v1.4
3. The "About" dialog will not close and there is no "Close" button
   • Pressing Esc will close the dialog
