This issue can be seen if in the stock example the monthly index chart is changed to a bar chart (ominiom/dc.js@3acaae71):

filter

After filtering has been reset the bars become much wider than they were originally and overlap.

Yes, there are number of issues with bar width. Thanks for pointing out this case.
