In this lesson we learned:

  • Initializing a repository
  • Setting up remotes and making our first push to Github
  • Making and merging a feature branch
  • Making our first pull request
  • When not to force push and how to preserve history
  • Using branches for bug fixes
  • Safe
  • Rebasing a branch
  • Using Stack Overflow to help solve a problem

For a future lesson:

  • Cherry picking
  • Stashing
  • Hard, mixed, and soft resetting
  • Detached HEAD mode
  • Setting up multiple remotes and why
