Any reason we can't just use the Algolia api to pull the most recent "Ask HN: ..." post ids when haxor-news is started from the command line? I guess if there are issues with the API have a hardcoded fallback could be appropriate still
Good question! Currently haxor-news is only hooked up to the Hacker News Firebase API, not the Algolia Search API. In addition to potentially looking up the latest hiring post ids, I think also hooking up general search through Algolia would be a nice feature: #20
