We should also work on adding some guidance to the README to clarify if/how people are really meant to use this. For example, to emphasize these are intended as samples and are not on a path to being made part of the product, and they are intended to inspire people creating their own components rather than being subject to our support policies for use as-is. |

This PR copies over the docs and adds the readme content. The tutorials still use the packages, so we'll need to figure out how we want to update those.
