In an effort to improve screenshots for tributary (currently they can only be manually set) we should experiment with various forms of automation.
The discussion has been going on in another issue: #37
but we should move it here

Some things to try with client side rendering would be an option to view the canvas rendering of a tributary live from within the ui. this way we can test support with real tributaries.

User experiences could include a modal window which shows the canvas rendering preview and prompts for uploading a thumbnail manually if desired. if no thumbnail set we can use a default tributary icon.

I'd also like to make this set up the 'twitter cards' I saw discussed a long time ago (would that be possible via plugin?)

i think twitter cards need to be done in the templates/header.handlebars
(we should be able to pass in the imgur url to handlebars and put it
together).
