vale help has invisible text when using solarized dark with iTerm

Describe the bug / provide steps to reproduce it

I noticed when using vale --help in iTerm2 with the Solarized Dark color profile, that much of the help text is invisible. This appears to be because some of the help text uses the same or similar color to the Solarized Dark background color, 002b36.

I can change the background color, but I haven't seen this issue with other help text so am wondering if it's something specific to Vale help.
