This change fixes how the sync responses are read. 8 responses with the SYNC op should be read in total. Without doing this it was occasionally possible to have a SYNC response bleed into subsequent response reads resulting in failures. This was notably seen in RegRead when reading the MAGIC value just after performing the initial connection and sync.
