Evemon is apparently heavily depending on API keys and using the old XML API. Since CCP has announced to shut down the old XML API by May 8th, 2018, Evemon needs to be migrated to ESI / SSO or it will stop working after that date.

In broad strokes what needs to be done is:

  • Replace all API calls to old XML API with calls to equivalent ESI API endpoints (e.g. by replacing the API library)
  • Replace API keys with EVE SSO tokens
  • Tell people that they will need to manually add all their characters again with EVE SSO
