I'm curious why they serialized this into Protobuf....it was probably on purpose so I'm not exactly sure changes it to Python objects is ideal but if tests pass I suppose it's hard to argue.

I'm not sure about that either. they probably wanted to use it as a form of input validation and to sort of align http and grpc servers.

What this PR does / why we need it:
Feature server invokes
get_online_featuresa little differently from sdk. It converts native python values to proto values with a simple protoParseand as a result doesn't take into account the exact data types of the entities involved. This PR removes this preprocessing step from feature server, which now passes native python values toget_online_featuresthat already has a logic in place to better handle type conversion.Which issue(s) this PR fixes:
