Can property contributors to use the string version? #362

It is not clear whether the property contributors -being an array-, allows the string version (like it's used in author).

Hi. No, and we are also removing the string version for author in v1.

We won't merge #337 until we can support all the changes in the core implementations we maintain. So closing this as it is implemented in #337 , and leaving it open creates confusion.
