Please add:
elif which('mport'): # MidnightBSD
MidnightBSD uses a different package manager than FreeBSD, but we're grouping the support together so just use which to figure out what we want.

MidnightBSD uses a different package manager than FreeBSD, but we're grouping the support together so just use which to figure out the correct package manager with FreeBSD's first.
