graph / display styles / set option to override: menu disappears under bottom edge of browser #891
Comments
Strange that bug is supposed to be fixed in 1.8.1, can you replicate this on http://play.grafana.org ? |
Same thing happens if I click the "series as parameters" help button at the bottom of the Metrics tab when I edit a graph. |
@florin-andrei-tp Very strange, you are supposed to get a scroll bar to right of the page when you open that dropdown. At least that is what I get and others after I fixed this issue for 1.8.1, there is still an issue in firefox but chrome should work. Frustrating that chrome can behave so differently. Regarding the help boxes on the metrics tab, I can replicate & understand that issue, those boxes are floating, will need to add clearfix for them. |
…ot scroll if they extended below screen, #891
Chrome 37.0.2062.124 on OS X 10.9.5
Grafana 1.8.1
When playing with display styles for a graph and trying to set override options, if click the + button, the menu disappears under the bottom edge of the browser, instead of moving a bit up so I can see the whole thing.
Since that button is already at the bottom of the page, I cannot move it higher so the menu doesn't disappear. The result is that some options in that menu are not accessible.
In the screenshot below, the browser is the black area, and the narrow grey portion outside is the desktop.
