GraphQL Electron App on Mac has no Hide option #964

  • GraphQL Playground - Electron App

What OS and OS version are you experiencing the issue(s) on?

macOS Mojave 10.14.2

What version of graphql-playground(-electron/-middleware) are you experiencing the issue(s) on?

1.8.9

What is the expected behavior?

The GraphQL menu should have "Hide GraphQL Playground ⌘H" and "Hide Others ⌥⌘", like every standard Mac app. For example:

What is the actual behavior?

The GraphQL menu has no Hide options. The app can not be hidden using the OS-standard ⌘H keyboard shortcut.

What steps may we take to reproduce the behavior?

  • Launch the app on Mac
  • Pull down the GraphQL menu - no hide options
  • Hit ⌘H – app does not hide
