Unfortunately we're unable to test this in our subscription due to restrictions within Azure - but this is the same logic used by the
azurerm_virtual_machine
resource.In addition - this PR does some minor refactoring in the Read function to remove some potential crash points from older Virtual Machines
Fixes #1113
