When
azurerm_*_web_app_slotwas first introduced into Terraform, it used the associated Web App'sservice_plan_idas it's own Service Plan Id; however, theservice_plan_idattribute was added later as you could specify a separate Service Plan when creating this resource. Because we want to steer clear of Optional/Computed values, we added a check for whether or not the slotservice_plan_idwas the same as the parentsservice_plan_idbefore setting that value into state. That caused the issues mentioned below to crop up.This PR adds a check when Creating/Updating a web app slot to prevent the usage of the parents Service Plan Id for
service_plan_idas that is just inferred whenservice_plan_idisn't specified.Fixes #22763
