I use most of the nodes removed from this version. I end up wondering "Why is my bathroom light staying on?" LOL
And I see I had auto updates on. Thank goodness the versioning was backed up.

You can re-add them quite easily via the add-on options, so no backup needed 😉

Please be aware, that the removed nodes are really really outdated/unmaintained (on average 5 years of no activity). You might want to consider replacing them.

I am using them. There are a critical pieces in environmental control.
So what would replace node-red-contrib-stoptimer, node-red-contrib-traffic
especially node-red-contrib-traffic. I use this as a switch bypass. Yeah if I can see a way to substitute, I am all for it.
I plan to post my setup this weekend in my profile.

Has anybody come up with a decent alternative for any of the removed nodes? I also heavily leverage stoptimer, and I'm wondering if there's a better answer.

I was told those removed can always be added back in. In this thread. I chose to hold off on all updates until I can have some time to investigate all the consequences to my perfect two-year-in-making system.

I did put them back in and that's how I'm working again today. But given the fact that they're old, outdated, and clearly didn't have enough love to remain in the base install, What I meant to say is that I reckon there's a better answer I'm just not aware of to replace the aging nodes.

Hi. Not sure how you are using stoptimer, but node-red-contrib-looptimer works well for me to keep track of certain logic.
