I think we need ASAP a $FIL solution for storage deals or at least have a bot for saving all these files to persist as we're using Infura.

Another option is Pinata who are the recommended option by OpenSea and OpenMinter. HicEtNunc could charge a small percentage of sale prices as a fee which would pay for website hosting costs, smart contract security reviews along with dedicated pinata IPFS nodes. https://pinata.cloud/pricing

FIL had a double spend on its network recently.. a very large one, so probably best to avoid.

Arweave appears to be a very attractive blockchain based option, and unlike other storage blockchains their focus is on persistance. They have been adopted by Way Back Machine/The Internet Archive too, which lends a lot of weight. The storage is also built on a pay once model, so no need to deal with contract maintenance.

Polkadot also have a bounty open to integrate with arweave, which shows they are gaining support and there are other industry devs who have confidence in their implentation.
