This repository contains two separate files:
APIcode.Rmd: This file is a step-by-step guide on the topic of "What is an API? And how do I work with it in R?". In the markdown file data is pulled from the World Health Organizations Athena API, and then later on visualized.
Twittercode.Rmd: This is a step-by-step guide on how to work with Twitters API to gather data. It gathers tweets regarding issues like domestic violence from different geographical areas around Asia.
