I made this project, mostly for myself, for fun and to get used to Frontend Dev again. Especially with working with design, css/scss, bootstrap, mobile responsiveness, etc.
There is also a mobile friendly design for this entirety of this project.
This project itself is purely Frontend built with Angular 17 and it utilizes Spotify's public API. You can play a Taeyeon Daily Heardle game, a Heardle Quiz based on your top songs played on Spotify, and you can also view your Spotify's top Artists, Songs, or Albums!
You will need a Spotify account to use this and you will be asked to Authorize Taeyeon Heardle to view your Spotify's Account Data and Activity/Top Items as seen in the permissions page. Note that no user data will be saved other than saving your game state for the continuity of the Daily Heardle!
The Home Page will let you choose what you would like to do!
The Taeyeon Daily Heardle can be played once a day (like Wordle!) and its daily reset is at 00:00 UTC!
The Heardle Quiz has a settings page that will let you choose whether you want to play the Hard Mode and whether you'd like to have only one specific artist's songs in the whole quiz.
The Quiz itself will have previews of a total of five songs for you to guess/answer within a time of 20 seconds if you're playing on Normal Mode! The songs will be randomly selected from your top songs within the last 4 weeks, last 6 months, and lifetime stats all combined.
This page will display your Top Artists/Albums/Songs within the selected time period!
