Why
I had a hard time finding a way for my friend to upload only few photos from their mobile. The backup UI in the app suggests only a full upload of all assets in selected albums is possible right now.

This feature is added in v1.72.0 (#3574) but I believe the documentation doesn't properly surface this knowledge.
