Assamese Phonetic Keyboard layout for Windows 10

The layout has been copied from pr-crypto/asmkb and converted to Windows Keyboard Layout using adobe-type-tools/keyboard-layouts. Most of the keys remain unchanged except one which is VK_S and is assigned to ষ (U+09b7)

Installation

Install Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator

• Download the software from microsoft's official site and install it.
• If there are any errors during installation regarding .NET Framework 3.5 check this post for fix.

Install the keyboard layout

• Download the Assamese.klc and open it using Microsoft Keyboard Layout Creator app.
• Click on Project -> Build DLL and Setup Package.
• A popup will ask to Open folder where setup.exe has been created. Click YES and install the keyboard.
• You may or may not need to restart your PC. The new layout should now be visible in the taskbar.
