Status of this repository

I am unsure about the status of this repository. On the one hand, I see messages that Github does not add new features here and that contributions are welcome. On the other hand I see some messages that the app is moving to a new platform, and therefore contributions are currently not welcome. It seems like not many feature requests in issues are handled currently.

I was thinking about making a contribution for a feature I'd like to see, though I want to know if this project is currently accepting contributions or not.
