This was just a project to learn about how to use LED matrices, shift registers, and interrupts in the Atmega 32-16PU. 

Attached is a hand-drawn wiring diagram.

If you want to make this for yourself make sure to change USB communication device in the makefile if it doesn't match. Mine was ttyACM0.
