Requirement - what kind of business use case are you trying to solve?
Viewing and analyzing differences between two traces, i.e. trace diffs.
Problem - what in Jaeger blocks you from solving the requirement?
A bug in trace-diffs causes what should be two nodes in the tree to be collapsed into one, as noted in the following scenario.
Given a trace as shown below, with A as the root node:
Currently, the following condensed version is generated where the
Bnode represents a group of 2 spans:But the correct condensed version is the following which has two
