About Jakcodex/Muledump

A fork of the original Muledump by Atomizer, Jakcodex/Muledump was originally created to address the broken state original Muledump had found itself in. It is fully compliant with Deca rate limiting, has an in-browser installation manager, and includes many new features.

Check out the Github page to read more about Jakcodex/Muledump.

Requirements

Jakcodex/Muledump is officially supported on Opera, Firefox, and Chrome. IE and Edge are not compatible.

Jakcodex/Muledump recommends Opera.

Step 1 - Install Extension

  1. Opera Extension: Jakcodex/Muledump CORS Adapter for Chrome
    1. Certain versions of Opera may need this extension installed first: Install Chrome Extensions
  2. Firefox Addon: Jakcodex/Muledump CORS Adapter for Firefox
  3. Chrome requires an extension and settings change (not recommended anymore)
    1. Chrome Extension: Jakcodex/Muledump CORS Adapter for Chrome
    2. Chrome settings change: Read more at Chrome v76 Breaking Changes

Step 2 - That's it!

No configuration is required for this extension.

Hopefully in the future Deca will allow cross-origin requests to Appspot removing the need for this extension :)

Muledump Versions

Jakcodex/Muledump is offered in two versions:

Loads directly from Github into your browser and stores all configuration data on your computer. This version is automatically updated with new versions.

There is no need to edit an accounts.js file. All data is stored in your browser's local storage.

If you are a Steam user and need your credentials, check out the Steam Users Setup Guide.

Step 1 - Introduction

If you're not already familiar with Muledump or SetupTools, check out the Overview and Introduction links. If you're been following this guide properly you can skip over Requirements here.

This guide assumes you are a new user who has never used Muledump before. Go ahead and follow the New User link.

If you are an existing Muledump user with an accounts.js file you can follow the Accounts.js Import link.

Step 2 - Accounts.js Import

This step is entirely optional.

The use of an accounts.js file is no longer required in Jakcodex/Muledump.

If you don't know what an accounts.js file is or do not have one, just skip this step and head over to Step 3.

To upload an accounts.js file, click "Choose File" and select your accounts.js file.

If you need to use manual mode, then paste the file contents into the text box.

Step 4 - Create a Backup

Jakcodex/Muledump includes a backup management system keeping backups of your Muledump configuration.

It is recommended you create and download a backup so you can quickly restore your Muledump experience at a later date.

Save it somewhere safe and secure. It contains all your account usernames and passwords.

Automatic and manual backups are stored in your browser's local storage; however, they can accidentally be deleted.

Step 5 - Reload
