About Hacktoberfest

Hacktoberfest is an annual celebration of open-source software. During the month of October, participants are encouraged to make meaningful contributions to open-source projects and earn rewards.

How to Participate

To get started with Hacktoberfest and contribute to the Java Projects Hub:

  1. Register for Hacktoberfest on the official website.

  2. Fork this repository to your GitHub account.

  3. Clone the forked repository to your local machine:

    git clone https://github.com/janmeshjs/JavaProjects.git
    
  4. Create a new branch for your contributions:

    git checkout -b my-contribution
    
  5. Make your changes, whether it's adding a new Java project, fixing a bug, or improving documentation.

  6. Commit your changes and push them to your forked repository:

    git add .
    git commit -m "Add my contribution"
    git push origin my-contribution
    
  7. Create a Pull Request (PR) from your forked repository to the main repository.

  8. Our team will review your PR, provide feedback, and merge it if it meets our quality standards.

  9. Repeat the process for additional contributions! Aim for at least four valid PRs to qualify for Hacktoberfest rewards.
