unknown flag for rclone

Hi,
very helpful scripts, thank you.
on my rpi4, running latest rasbpian (debian 10.8) and rclone 1.45, it wouldn't accept the flag "--no-check-dest" in your script backup.sh. Got rid of it, and all works fine.

Thanks for the note, and you're welcome. rclone 1.45 is pretty old (from 2018). --no-check-dest was introduced in 1.5.1 from February 2020, so you might want to upgrade to a newer version from https://rclone.org/downloads/ if only to pick up bug fixes since then.

you're right, the official repository for raspbian seems outdated in relation to rclone.

I just updated manually, adding the command line for anybody interested.

just run
curl https://rclone.org/install.sh | sudo bash
