Cyberpunk gLTF Material Importer
DESCRIPTION:
This Blender addon allows you to import the glb/gltf files exported from WolvenKit Mesh w/Materials Exporter and automatically sets up the materials and shaders.
Its a WIP addon that needs a lot more work, and only supports few material types from the game, shader node setup is not perfect in most of the cases.
Don't forget to check the Material.json that exports along with glb/gltf file for complete information about the material setup.
For latest updates/contribution check the commits on the repository
INSTALLATION:
In Blender goto Edit->Preferences->Add-ons->Install and select this zip file and enable the addon, done!
USAGE:
Goto import->Cyberpunk GLTF (.glb/.gltf) then chose the desired image format/extension for the textures and then select the glb/gltf file.
IMPORTANT:
- The Textures images for rendering are grabbed from your Material Repository.
- For best results, use Cycles Render engine.
- If some imported materials are looking completely pink and if you are on Eevee Render Engine, Some Materials from the game are multilayered
Eevee Render Engine has some limitations with layers stacking, change to Cycles Render Engine. - Again if some images/textures are pink, it can be due to certain textures/images not being present in the material repository or its empty or because of different texture extension.
