Outlining the procedures / tools around designing.
We predominantly use web fonts, wherever available. Google Web Fonts is our most important resource.
If we need a particular font that's not available (and have the license to use it) we'll export it in a web friendly format using Font Squirrel.
All website icons should be exported in a custom font set (why?)
Thus the icons need to be in a vector format...
We use Iconmoon for the generation.
- Strokes get ignored by the app. You can convert them to fills.
- Unite/combine your fills.
- Avoid using white fills. All of your fills will have one color after importing.
