A Realm down (RD) is a temporary IP ban typically resulting from creating or joining too many games in a certain time.

D2Bot# has some special features preventing from getting restricted from realm. It's a:

  • Realm down blocker prevents you from getting kicked off the realm after you get RD. When your keys are flagged you cannot join or create games it's time to change your key to a "fresh" one.
  • Realm down remover it removes your RD after 180 seconds and change your key to a new one. It works "like" an IP reset. Now you can play again.

If you login too often (this comes from swapping cd-keys too often or crashing) or continue getting Realm Down, you will get "Unable to connect" (UTC). There are no known workarounds other than IP change. A typical UTC restriction lasts between 1 and 12 hours.

###How to prevent RD and UTC?###

There are several things you can do to prevent getting restricted:

  • try to make games longer
  • use more cdkeys per profile
  • don't swap cd-keys too often
