Add metric "ssl certificate expiration" #848

  • Instrument nginx to expose metric "ssl certficate expiration time "
  • Add a console warning message 10 days before the certificate expire.

Alert example:

ALERT NginxSSLCertExpire
  IF ingress_controller_ssl_expire_time_seconds < (time() + (10 * 24 * 3600))
  LABELS {service="nginx", severity="critical"}
  ANNOTATIONS {description="SSL certificate for host {{ $labels.host }} 
will expire in 10 days. Please renew!", summary="SSL Certificate is about to expire!!"}
